May 2010: Media Prize 2010 winners will be announced on 18 September

This year the Novo Nordisk Media Prize award for the best print article, the best online article and the best TV-broadcast on diabetes in lay press will be announced at a ceremony on 18 September 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden.

If you wish to sign-up for next years Novo Nordisk Media Prize, contact Novo Nordisk in your country or region. Please be aware that your print article, online article or tv feature has to be published/broadcasted in the period of 1 May 2009 - 30 April 2010 in order to enter the contest.  

September 2009: Novo Nordisk Media Prize 2009 goes to France, Italy and the UK
	Brigitte-Fanny Cohen from France, Mario Papagallo from Italy and Dr Thomas Stuttaford from United Kingdom won the Novo Nordisk Media Prize 2009 for the best TV feature, the best print article and the best online article about diabetes in lay press, respectively. The winners competed along with 45 writers and journalists from 26 countries worldwide. Read more

August 2009: Media Prize 2009 winners will be announced on 27 September 2009

This year journalists from 26 countries are competing in the Novo Nordisk Media Prize award for the best print article, the best online article and the best TV-broadcast on diabetes in lay press. The winners of the Media Prize 2009 will be announced at a ceremony on 27 September 2009 in Vienna, Austria.

November 2008: New online category

A new online category has been introduced for the Novo Nordisk Media Prize 2009. There are now three categories in the Novo Nordisk Media Prize: print articles, online articles and TV features. Read more.

September 2008: Novo Nordisk Media Prize 2008 goes to Spain and China

Xuemei Zhang from China and Jaume Vilalta i Casas from Spain won the Novo Nordisk Media Prize 2008 for the best article and the best TV feature about diabetes in lay press, respectively. The winners competed along with journalists from 20 countries worldwide. Read more.
